Our client based in Romford, are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual with at least 4 years PQE in Family Law to join their expanding law firm. • A minimum of 4 years PQE in Family Law handling a varied workload across all areas of private Family Law.
• Client focussed with excellent communication skills and clear decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated with a track record of achieving career, financial (including fee targets) and business development goals.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex legal matters.
• Demonstrable ability and keenness to build and maintain client and referral relationships.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills.
• Professional but friendly and approachable personality.
• Experience of training paralegals, trainees and junior solicitors and strong leadership qualities
• Ambition to progress career
• A track record of aiding with the management of a practice is preferred
• Experience with LEAP case management is preferred but not essential
£45,000 - £60,000pa
Romford, Essex
A salary of £45,000 - £60,000pa dependent on experience, 4 or 5 day week, Junior staff / paralegal /secretarial support offered, generous profit related bonus, Pension contributions, Parking, Reasonable billing targets, Clear progression path, Favourable Holiday 5.6 weeks per annum including bank holidays (full time), Additional discretionary annual leave in between Christmas and New Year, Additional 1 day for your Birthday after six months service, Private Medical Health after one year service, Sick Pay, Staff social events, Some Hybrid working after successful completion of probation.
The working hours are 9.00am – 5.00pm.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
• Handling a medium sized caseload (20 - 25 cases) of family matters for a range of clients that also includes high-net-worth individuals.
• Handling a varied and interesting workload across all areas of private funded Family Law which includes divorce, separation, cohabitation agreements, children, finances, TOLATA, Domestic Violence Injunctions and Pre / Post Nuptial agreements.
• Building and maintaining client and referral relationships.
• Engaging in networking and practice development activities.
