Do you have Concierge experience? Are you looking to move away from unsociable hours and shifts? If so, a great permanent opportunity has arisen for a Concierge to join our client in Croydon to work 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
As first point of contact you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the building and providing a first-class service to its residents. This role requires you to have previous experience in a similar role, strong communication and people skills, a smart appearance and a professional, calm, mature approach. • Previous experience in a similar professional Concierge or Building Receptionist role
• A smart presentable appearance and professional, courteous approach
• Excellent communication and people skills both face to face and over the telephone
• IT Literacy
• To be reliable with a great work ethic
• Open to mandatory online training and any other training as and when required
• Ensuring that legislative and regulatory and best practice requirements are met.
£28,000 - £32,000pa
Croydon, Surrey
In return for your hard work, our client is offering a salary of £28,000 - £32,000pa, 25 days holiday which rises with service, on-going training and support and lots more benefits are on offer once you have passed probation.
The working hours are 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour lunch break.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
• Based within the Reception / Concierge office area, providing the building’s owner, residents and visitors with an excellent first point of contact
• Dealing with any “non-urgent” residents matters
• Ensuring the reception area is kept clean, tidy and litter free
• Receiving and safely delivering residents’ parcels and packages
• Monitoring the CCTV
• Carrying out functional testing of building systems; Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Lifts, Water Temperature, Fire Extinguishers etc
• Reporting in writing any maintenance issues noted by residents to the responsible person
• Electronically recording telephone calls, maintenance issues, noting contactors’ visits and general site observations
• Overseeing the behaviour of any contractors on site
