• To be a car owner driver due to the location of this role.
• Experience working as Senior Accounts Assistant or Accounts Manager with good knowledge of both Sales and Purchase Ledger.
• Good knowledge of Sage Line 50.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
• A strong attention to detail.
• A great work ethic with lots of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
Up to £40,000pa
Basildon
Our client is offering a salary of up to £40,000pa along with on-site car parking and 4 weeks holiday + BH. This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
• Raising sales invoices and posting to Sage Line 50.
• Checking costs have been entered correctly and communicate any issues.
• Submitting daily sales invoices, performing the month end and producing the monthly reconciliation.
• Calculating commission reports for clients and sales staff.
• Credit control duties and dealing with sales invoice queries.
• Producing a weekly report for Directors to highlight any potential problem clients.
• Setting up new client credit accounts.
• Processing sales receipts.
• Raising monthly client statements.
• Updating client and supplier contact details.
• Running end of month reports, calculating the end of month Work in Progress figures, and entering stock figures for the internal AV sheet report.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Produce monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Process purchase invoices, match with the purchase orders and transfer to Sage.
• Deal with purchase invoice queries.
• Process bank payments and print daily bank statements.
• Provide daily cash and availability reports to the Directors.
• Producing other ad hoc reports at the end of the month and when required.
• Some administration duties.
